Aeromexico Rewards Tickets and Tickets paid with money
Terms and Conditions
By purchasing any Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, you declare that you acknowledge and accept these "Aeromexico Rewards Ticket Terms and Conditions".
Aeromexico Rewards Tickets. These are airline tickets that Aeromexico Rewards Members can acquire by redeeming Aeromexico Rewards Points and include Aeromexico Rewards Ticket and Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets.
Aeromexico Rewards Ticket: These are airline tickets with no fare cost, which are subject to availability and have controlled availability, which depends on the demand for each flight that varies according to the time, route and date of each flight (among others). These can be operated by Aeromexico and any airline of the SkyTeam/OAL alliance. This applies to one-way, round and multi-destination flights. For the redemption of this type of Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, the amount of Aeromexico Rewards Points required per single trip is fixed and can be found in the table at https://www.aeromexico.com/en-us/aeromexico-rewards/award-ticket/
Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Ticket: these are public fare airline tickets converted to Aeromexico Rewards Points, operated exclusively by Aeromexico, Aeromexico Connect, Delta, KLM and Air France. Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, as well as the required amount of Aeromexico Rewards Points, are subject to the rules of the fare families established by the airline operating the flights, and depend on the demand for each flight, which varies according to the time, route and date of each flight (among other issues set by each airline). This applies to one-way, round and multi-destination flights.
How to acquire a Aeromexico Rewards Ticket
In order to acquire a Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, whether it is an Aeromexico Rewards Ticket or a Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, Aeromexico Rewards Members must redeem (use and/or exchange) a certain number of Aeromexico Rewards Points in exchange for the Aeromexico Rewards Ticket and pay the corresponding taxes and service charge, both of which must always be paid with money and not with Aeromexico Rewards Points.
Aeromexico Rewards Tickets will always have a rate other than 0 (zero) Aeromexico Rewards Points. You acknowledge and agree that Aeromexico Rewards Tickets may not be free under any circumstances.
Cash+Points
If they do not have enough Aeromexico Rewards Points, Aeromexico Rewards Members may acquire their Aeromexico Rewards Tickets by paying partly with Aeromexico Rewards Points and paying the difference with money, using their valid credit or debit card.
Both types of Aeromexico Rewards Ticket can be paid with Aeromexico Rewards Points or Cash+Points (Money plus Aeromexico Rewards Points); the price of these will depend on the route and season (high or low):

The combined scheme of Aeromexico Rewards Points and money is as follows:
Purchase the flight with 75% (seventy-five percent) of Aeromexico Rewards Points plus 25% (twenty-five percent) in cash;
Purchase the flight with 50% (fifty percent) of Aeromexico Rewards Points plus 50% (fifty percent) in cash; or
Purchase the flight with 35% (thirty-five percent) of Aeromexico Rewards Points plus 65% (sixty-five percent) in cash.
The amounts to be paid in cash will vary according to the price of the type of Aeromexico Rewards Ticket selected.
The minimum amount to be paid with Aeromexico Rewards Points will be 35% (thirty-five percent) of the total value in Aeromexico Rewards Points of the selected Aeromexico Rewards Ticket.
This Cash+Points alternative will be available to all Aeromexico Rewards Members when booking their flight through https://vuelaconpuntos.aeromexicorewards.com/
Service Charges for Aeromexico Rewards Tickets
The charges for issuing "Aeromexico Rewards Ticket" and "Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Ticket" are equivalent to $323.00 (three hundred and twenty three pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency) for bookings made through the website https://vuelaconpuntos.aeromexicorewards.com/ and $640.00 (six hundred and forty pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency) for bookings made through any other channel. These charges cannot be paid with Aeromexico Rewards Points and must be paid in a single payment.
Even when paying with the Cash+Points system, the Aeromexico Rewards Member must cover the corresponding service charges and taxes.

When requesting Aeromexico Rewards Tickets by phone or at the ticket office, it is important that you consider that these Aeromexico Rewards Tickets are subject to availability. For bookings on Aeromexico flights, you must call at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before the date of flight departure; for bookings on flights operated by SkyTeam airlines and affiliated airlines, you must call at least 7 (seven) business days before the flight departure date. The times indicated in this paragraph are recommendations, subject to availability.

The assignment of seats on flights with Aeromexico using an Aeromexico Rewards Ticket will be subject to a charge, from the moment of purchase until 24 (twenty-four) hours before boarding for international flights and 48 (forty-eight) hours for domestic flights.

The assignment of seats on flights using any type of Aeromexico Rewards Ticket with Sky Team airlines or other participating airlines applies per travel segment and may vary.

The charge for seat assignment may be paid with Aeromexico Rewards Points or charged to a credit or debit card. The Cash + Points payment option does not apply for this charge.

An Aeromexico Rewards Ticket includes baggage according to the class purchased and the destination area:
For national Aeromexico Rewards Ticket (trips within the national territory) includes hand baggage and a personal item that together weigh 15kg, and for international Aeromexico Rewards Ticket (with route to and / or from territory outside the Mexican Republic) a maximum of 10kg.
Carry-on baggage means suitcases with or without wheels whose dimensions do not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm. (21.5 x 15.7 x 10 inches).
Personal belongings such as briefcases, purses, computers, umbrellas, fanny packs, etc., are classified as personal items. These must fit under the seats in the cabin.
Baggage included with Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets
Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets may include checked baggage, in accordance with the rules of the airline operating the flight, the fare family purchased and the destination area. Change Fees for Aeromexico Rewards Ticket
For International Aeromexico Rewards Ticket (with route to and / or from territory outside the Mexican Republic, except the United States of America) issued on or after August 8, 2023, Aeromexico Rewards Members must pay the flight date and/or schedule change fee in accordance with the following table in order to make their first (or more) change to their flight date:

For national Aeromexico Rewards Tickets (travel within national territory) issued on or after 28 March 2023, Aeromexico Rewards Members must pay the flight date and/or time change fee of $700.00 (seven hundred pesos 00/100 M.N.) if requested at least 8 days before the departure of the flight, and $1,000.00 (one thousand pesos 00/100 M.N.) if requested 7
days or less from the departure of the flight in order to make your first change (or more) on the date of your flight.
For Aeromexico Rewards Ticket with trips only to the United States of America from Mexico, that means only when the trip originates in national territory (either in single and/or round flight) issued on or after 11 January 2023, Aeromexico Rewards Members must pay the fee for change of flight date and / or time of $ 4,000.00 (four thousand pesos 00/100 M.N) in order to make the first change (or more) on the flight date in order to make your first change (or more) on the date of your flight.
The payment of the fee for change of flight date and/or time allows the Aeromexico Rewards Member to exclusively change the date and /or flight time of the outbound flight, the return flight or both, that is, it is possible to make changes to the flight dates provided that the origin and destination of the new itinerary are the same as the original itinerary, within the same season and for the same passenger.
Aeromexico Rewards Titanium Members are exempt from the change fee, provided said change is made more than 21 (twenty-one) days prior to the travel date.
In case of flight date changes for Aeromexico Rewards Ticket purchased during a promotion, the following rules shall apply:
Aeromexico Rewards Members may make 1 (one) flight date change for their Ticket (change in the date of the outbound flight, the return flight or both), provided that it is the first change and said change is within the flying period permitted by the promotion, subject to availability.
If the same promotion under which the ticket was acquired is still valid and there is availability, the Aeromexico Rewards Member must only pay the difference in taxes, if applicable.
If the same promotion under which the ticket was acquired is no longer valid, the Aeromexico Rewards Member may request its cancellation in accordance with these terms and conditions.
A flight date change is allowed for Aeromexico Rewards Ticket acquired with the American Express® 2x1 (two for one) voucher (coupon), in accordance with its terms and conditions and only during the same season for which the voucher was applied.
The flight date change fee will be charged for each passenger within the booking for those who change flight dates.
For flight date changes of Aeromexico Rewards Ticket issued before September 14, 2022, with date change to fly on or after September 14, 2022, the following applies:

For changes in Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, the rules of the fare family in which said ticket was purchased and issuance fee in effect on the date of issuance of the new tickets shall apply. These rules will be those established by the airline operating the flight.

Cancellation of Aeromexico Rewards Tickets
For cancellations of any type of Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, please contact the Aeromexico Rewards Call Center.
The passenger may request the return of his Aeromexico Rewards Ticket(s), without cancellation fee, in case he decides not to make the trip, as long as he communicates it to Aeromexico Rewards within a period of 24 (twenty-four) hours counted from the time of redemption of the Aeromexico Rewards Tciket(s). This cancellation will be applicable to flights purchased exclusively in Mexico, whether they are domestic or international flights operated by Aeromexico. In this case Aeromexico Rewards will refund to Aeromexico Rewards Member, all Aeromexico Rewards Points redeemed on their Aeromexico Rewards Ticket.
Ticket(s), as well as money paid for fees and taxes. The refund will be made in the Aeromexico Rewards Account from which the redeemed Aeromexico Rewards Points came from and in the Bank Card with which the corresponding taxes and charges were paid. It is the responsibility of the Aeromexico Rewards Member to inform Aeromexico Rewards, at the time of requesting cancellation, if their Bank Card is expired or if they wish the refund to be made on a different Bank Card than the one with which the corresponding taxes and charges were paid. The foregoing will not apply to cancellation of Aeromexico Rewards Ticket of flights operated by airlines other than Aeromexico, as they are subject to the cancellation rules of the airline providing the service.
If the Bank Card is different from the one used to make the purchase, the Member must submit proof of cancellation and provide a similar account.
For Aeromexico Rewards Tickets purchased on or after September 17, 2020, if the Aeromexico Rewards Member requests Aeromexico Rewards to cancel their Aeromexico Rewards Tickets after a period of 24 (twenty-four) hours from the redemption of the Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, they will be charged the following cancellation fees:
Cancellation Fees for Aeromexico Rewards Ticket: The cancellation fee for Aeromexico Rewards Ticket will be $1,930.00 (one thousand nine hundred and thirty pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency) for domestic flights and $2,900.00 (two thousand nine hundred pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency) for flights to and from abroad. In this case, Aeromexico Rewards will reimburse the Aeromexico Rewards Member for all Aeromexico Rewards Points redeemed for their Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, as well as any money paid for taxes. This reimbursement will be made to the Aeromexico Rewards Account from which the redeemed Aeromexico Rewards Points were taken, and to the Bank Card with which the corresponding taxes were paid. It is the responsibility of the Aeromexico Rewards Member to inform Aeromexico Rewards, at the time of requesting the cancellation, if their Bank Card has expired or if they want the reimbursement to be made to a different Bank Card than the one with which the corresponding taxes were paid. The service charge and issuance fee for the ticket will not be refundable, since it is not part of the flight fare.
SkyTeam® Aeromexico Rewards Tickets will be refundable, provided the trip has not started.
Any change of destination, route, area or passenger name implies the respective reimbursement of Aeromexico Rewards Points and the possible issuance of a new booking. If the cancellation of one ticket and issuance of another are both performed during the same call to the call center or visit to the stores, the service charge will not apply.
The aforementioned fees only apply to Aeromexico Rewards Tickets. For Aeromexico Rewards Tickets from other airlines, the fees established in the terms and conditions of the purchased fare will apply.
In the event of a discrepancy between the provisions of these terms and conditions and the cancellation policies of the airline operating the flight corresponding to the Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, the policies of the airline service provider shall prevail and apply
For tickets issued before September 14, 2022, in case of cancellation at the request of the Member, the rules of cancellation of the Aeromexico Rewards Ticket will apply and any new redemption of the Aeromexico Rewards Ticket will be subject to the values that are published at that time.
Cancellation of Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets
For cancellations of Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, please contact the Aeromexico Rewards Call Center (55 1519 4040).

In this case Aeromexico Rewards will refund to Aeromexico Rewards Member, all Aeromexico Rewards Points redeemed on their Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, as well as money paid for fees and taxes. The refund will be made in the Aeromexico Rewards Account from which the redeemed Aeromexico Rewards Points came from and in the Bank Card with which the corresponding taxes and charges were paid. It is the responsibility of the Aeromexico Rewards Member to inform Aeromexico Rewards, at the time of requesting cancellation, if their Bank Card is expired or if they wish the refund to be made on a different Bank Card than the one with which the corresponding taxes and charges were paid. The foregoing will not apply to cancellation of Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets of flights operated by airlines other than Aeromexico, as they are subject to the cancellation rules of the airline providing the service.
Once the aforementioned period has elapsed, Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets operated by Aeromexico cannot be subject to cancellation or reimbursement.

Validity
The validity of these Terms and Conditions is indefinite.
Restrictions on Aeromexico Rewards Tickets
Travel agencies are not authorized to book or issue Aeromexico Rewards Tickets; however, they may help the Aeromexico Rewards Member carry out the process through authorized Aeromexico Rewards channels.
The redemption of Aeromexico Rewards Points does not include the payment of taxes, nor the service charges for issuing Aeromexico Rewards Tickets
Only 1 (one) stopover will be allowed for each round-trip Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, under the following conditions:
A stopover is defined as a stop lasting more than 24 (twenty-four) hours between domestic and/or international flights.
The city of destination is not considered a stopover.
A stopover is allowed provided there are no more than 2 (two) connections between the origin and the destination, including any connection made to/from the stopover.
The stopover city must be within a valid route provided by the system.
Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets do not participate in promotions offered by Aeromexico Rewards, unless otherwise specified.
“Mexican Republic” or “national territory” refers to the territory and air space belonging to the United Mexican States.
Their validity is of 1 (one) year from the original issuance date.
General conditions of service charges and fees for changes and cancellations
The fees and any amounts expressed in dollars will be calculated in national currency, applying the current exchange rate on the date of payment of the booking.
TICKETS PAID WITH MONEY
“Ticket Paid with Money”: means a ticket for a flight operated by the airline called Aeromexico (“Aeromexico”) purchased with money by the Aeromexico Rewards Member, using the participating bank cards as a method of payment in accordance with these terms and conditions. By purchasing any Ticket Paid with Money, you acknowledge and accept these "Terms and Conditions for Tickets Paid with Money".

Service Charges for Tickets Paid with Money
For bookings made through the Aeromexico Call Center, the charges for issuing Tickets Paid with Money will be defined by the following table. These charges must be covered in a single payment through the participating bank cards:
Service Charge Call Center international routes: $210 MXN (two hundred and ten pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency)
Service Charge Call Center domestic routes 1 passenger: $301 MXN (three hundred and one peso 00/100 Mexican Currency)
Service Charge Call Center domestic routes 2 passengers: $500 MXN (five hundred pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency)
Service Charge Call Center domestic routes 3 passengers: $600 MXN (six hundred pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency)
Service Charge Call Center domestic routes 4 passengers: $801 MXN (eight hundred and one peso 00/100 Mexican Currency)
Service Charge Call Center domestic routes 5 passengers: $1,000 MXN (one thousand pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency)
Service Charge Call Center domestic routes 6 to 9 passengers: $1,100 MXN (one thousand one hundred pesos 00/100 Mexican Currency)
Currency in which the prices for Tickets Paid with Money are expressed
All amounts that appear at https://vuelaconpuntos.aeromexicorewards.com/ are expressed in Mexican Pesos (MXN) except when otherwise indicated. The denomination appears clearly expressed in each product or service.
Baggage and Seats for Tickets Paid with Money
Both baggage and seat assignment policies for Tickets Paid with Money are subject to the rules of the corresponding fare family, which you can check on the Aeromexico website (www.aeromexico.com or at https://www.aeromexico.com/es-mx/informacion-de-vuelos/familias-tarifarias).
Overbooked flights for Tickets Paid with Money
Aeromexico Rewards is not responsible for the fact that the purchased flight has been oversold by Aeromexico and, in these cases, the passenger will adhere to any processes indicated by Aeromexico in accordance with their air carriage agreement or the provisions stated in www.aeromexico.com
Release of liability for Aeromexico Rewards regarding Tickets Paid with Money
The additional terms and conditions of Aeromexico airline tickets will apply to the booking selected by the Aeromexico Rewards Member. In particular, the Aeromexico Rewards Member will be responsible for reading all the carriage terms and conditions issued by Aeromexico, which can be found on the aeromexico.com website, and by purchasing the Tickets Paid with Money, they express their acceptance of all the terms and conditions established by the airline. Airfare is only guaranteed after purchase is complete and tickets have been issued. Airlines and other travel providers may change their prices without notice. Aeromexico Rewards reserves the right to cancel the booking if full payment is not received in a timely manner.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR AEROMEXICO REWARDS TICKETS AND TICKETS PAID WITH MONEY
Aeromexico Rewards Points, as well as the redemption of Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, will be subject to the rules, terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations of the Aeromexico Rewards Program, which are available at www.aeromexicorewards.com
Aeromexico Rewards reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
All Aeromexico Rewards Ticket, Dynamic-Fare Aeromexico Rewards Tickets and Tickets Paid with Money are subject to availability, and the fares and conditions established by Aeromexico or the airlines affiliated with Aeromexico (SkyTeam) will apply, since they are the providers of the airline service, and Aeromexico Rewards only acts as a method of payment for the corresponding airline tickets.
Aeromexico Rewards (PLM Premier, S.A.P.I. de C.V.) is exclusively responsible for the issuance of Aeromexico Rewards Tickets, as well as Tickets Paid with Money, and not for the operation of said commercial flights, and therefore, the Aeromexico Rewards Member accepts that any claim directly related to the operation of the flight must be reviewed by the corresponding provider. The operation of commercial flights is independent from Aeromexico Rewards.
Additionally, the Aeromexico Rewards Member accepts that Aeromexico Rewards is not responsible in case of flight cancellations due to problems with the airline provider, weather causes or any other act of God or event of force majeure for which the airline decides to cancel their flight. Therefore, the Aeromexico Rewards Member releases Aeromexico Rewards from liability in these cases, since Aeromexico Rewards is only responsible for operating as a method of payment and issuing the Aeromexico Rewards Ticket and/or the Ticket Paid with Money, and the Aeromexico Rewards Member accepts that any claim directly related to the operation of the flight must be reviewed by the corresponding airline provider and will be governed in accordance with the air carriage agreement entered into with the airline.
Similarly, the Aeromexico Rewards Member agrees to have all the documentation (ID, airline ticket, valid passport, tourist cards, vaccination certificates, visas, among others) necessary and required by both the airline and the countries of destination, being their exclusive responsibility to comply with these requirements, as well as with any other government obligations imposed by said countries for their legal stay and/or transit within them, and they also accept that Aeromexico Rewards is not responsible if the airline provider prevents them from boarding in the event that the Aeromexico Rewards Member does not have the necessary, correct and required documents. In this case, the Aeromexico Rewards Member releases Aeromexico Rewards from all liability, since Aeromexico Rewards is only responsible for operating as a method of payment and issuing the Aeromexico Rewards Ticket and/or Ticket Paid with Money, and the Aeromexico Rewards Member accepts that any claim directly related to the operation of the flight must be reviewed by the corresponding airline provider and will be governed in accordance with the air carriage agreement entered into with the airline.
The Aeromexico Rewards Member is responsible for ensuring that they meet the entry requirements for foreigners, and that their travel documents, such as passports and visas (transit, business, tourist or any other type), are in order, and for complying with any other entry requirement for foreigners. Aeromexico Rewards does not have any special knowledge regarding foreigner entry requirements or travel documents. We recommend that Aeromexico Rewards Members review travel prohibitions, advisories, announcements and warnings issued by relevant governments before booking trips to international destinations.
Passport and Visa: this information should be checked with the relevant Embassy or Consulate. Requirements may change and you should verify the updated information prior to booking and departure. We assume no responsibility if you are denied entry to a flight or to any country because you do not carry your proper and correct passport, visa or any other travel document required by the airline, authority or country, including countries where you are only in transit. This includes any stopovers made by the plane, if you don't leave the plane or the airport.
Health: Recommended travel vaccinations may change and you should check with your doctor for current recommendations before you leave. It is the responsibility of the Aeromexico Rewards Member to ensure that they meet all health requirements to enter the countries mentioned, get the recommended vaccinations, take the recommended medications, and follow medical advice related to their trip.
By offering bookings for travel products, particularly to international destinations, Aeromexico Rewards does not represent or warrant that travel to such areas is recommended or risk-free, and is not responsible for any damages or losses that may result from traveling to such destinations.
**Invoicing **
Should you need the digital fiscal receipt of your purchase, you may obtain it at: https://amfacturacion.aeromexico.com/, with your authorization number and your Member number. Your fiscal receipt will be available 2 (two) working days after payment. After that, you will have 8 (eight) calendar days to request your electronic invoice by providing federal taxpayer ID, fiscal address and e-mail.
You may only invoice the portion paid with cash in the Cash+Points modality, since Aeromexico Rewards Points do not have a monetary value.
Fraud
Aeromexico Rewards reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate should it detect frauds, fraudulent conducts or wrongdoing by Members with Aeromexico Rewards Accounts.
PLM Premier, S.A.P.I. de C.V. reserves the right to suspend any Aeromexico Rewards Member temporarily or to terminate them definitively from the Program for failure to comply with Aeromexico Rewards’s Terms and Conditions or in order to protect its interests, notifying the Aeromexico Rewards Member in writing 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance. Temporary suspension shall result in the Aeromexico Rewards Account being disabled during its term, which means the Aeromexico Rewards Member shall be unable to: credit Points to their Aeromexico Rewards Account, and Redeem or Exchange Points credited to their Aeromexico Rewards Account; as well as the suspension of all Benefits granted to Aeromexico Rewards Members. Definitive termination shall result in the definitive cancellation of the Aeromexico Rewards Account, of any Points accredited to it and of all Benefits granted to Aeromexico Rewards Members.
Personal Data
All processing of personal data carried out by Aeromexico Rewards, as well as the exercise of ARCO Rights by the Members, will be carried out in accordance with the Law and Regulations applicable in the United Mexican States, as well as subject to the provisions of Aeromexico Rewards’s Privacy Notice, which you accepted prior to your registration in Aeromexico Rewards (to check the Privacy Notice please go to www.aeromexicorewards.com)
Money laundering
In accordance with the Federal Act for the Prevention and Identification of Transactions with Illegal Proceeds, and as a result of certain activities by Members deemed vulnerable activities by the Act, Aeromexico Rewards shall share your Personal Data with the relevant authorities.
Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, in connection with their interpretation or compliance, shall be governed by the Law and jurisdiction of the competent Courts in Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them by reason of subject-matter or present or future address.
